This Privacy Policy explains how Ofbit AS ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile application Ultimate Timer (the "Services").
Key point: Ultimate Timer stores all your timer data — including timers, activity history, and goals — locally on your device only. We do not upload or have access to your timer data. The only third-party data collection that occurs is through Google Mobile Ads, which may collect limited device information to serve advertisements to free-tier users.
Ultimate Timer is designed to work entirely without an account. All content you enter is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers. This includes:
Like most apps, we may receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Services, such as device and app diagnostics (for example, crash reports). We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
If you grant notification permission, the app may send local notifications to your device (for example, to alert you when a timer phase completes while the app is in the background). These notifications are generated entirely on your device and no notification content is transmitted to us.
We do not intentionally collect or request sensitive personal information. All app content you enter remains on your device.
In short: Free-tier users see ads served by Google Mobile Ads. Google may collect limited device information to serve these ads. Users who subscribe to Ultimate Timer Pro have ads removed entirely.
We use Google Mobile Ads (provided by Google LLC) to display banner and interstitial advertisements to free-tier users. Google may collect and process information such as:
Ultimate Timer uses Apple's SKAdNetwork framework, which is Apple's privacy-preserving approach to measuring ad campaign effectiveness without directly identifying individual users or their devices.
Subscribing to Ultimate Timer Pro removes all advertisements. No Google Mobile Ads data collection occurs for subscribed users.
Google's data practices are governed by Google's own privacy policy. We encourage you to review it at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We use information to:
In short: We do not share your timer data with anyone — it never leaves your device. We do share limited device information with Google Mobile Ads (for free-tier users) and with Apple for in-app purchase processing. We do not sell your personal information.
For free-tier users, limited device information is shared with Google LLC for the purpose of serving advertisements (see section 1A). This does not include your timer data, activity history, or any content you enter in the app.
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights and safety of users, investigate fraud or security issues, or respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your timer data, activity history, and goals are stored locally on your device for as long as you keep the app installed, or until you delete the data yourself. We do not have a copy of this data and cannot access or delete it on your behalf.
If you export your data, the exported file is managed by you. If you contact us for support, we will retain your communication only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, unless a longer period is required by law.
Because your timer data is stored only on your device, its security depends on your device's own security measures (such as your passcode and device encryption). We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect any information that does reach us (for example, support communications). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Ultimate Timer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is a general-purpose timer application; however, because free-tier users are served ads by Google Mobile Ads, we recommend that parents supervise use by younger children or consider a subscription to remove ads entirely. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
Because your timer data is stored only on your device, you have full control over it at all times — you can view, export, or delete it directly within the app without involving us.
Note: We do not have access to your on-device timer data and therefore cannot retrieve or delete it on your behalf.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when changes take effect. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, within the app or on our website).
